Just because the summer is starting to wind down doesn’t mean there is a lack of events happening here in Hilton Head Island! The Bluffton Dog Days of Summer Sunset Party is a music, food and beer sunset celebration that will be held at The Bluffton Oyster Factory Park on May River this Friday, August 17th from 5:00 until 9:30 pm for the Palmetto Animal League.
This fun event will feature two local bands, a $3 Craft Beer Garden, a Hot & Spicy Food Court and other fun activities that every member of your family will enjoy! The Palmetto Animal League will also have dogs available for adoption from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
Kicking off the Dog Days of Summer Sunset Party are “The Chiggers” at 5:30pm, followed by “Whitley Deputy & The B-Town Project” at 7:30pm. These two fantastic Hilton Head local bands will bring you live rock, blues, and country music to keep the party going and make sure you have a great time with family and friends…all for a great cause!
The great cause I’m talking about is benefiting the Palmetto Animal League, a No Kill Animal Rescue and Adoption organization serving homeless animals in the Lowcountry. While tickets to this events are $5 (children 12 and under are free), a percentage of the proceeds will help the organization.
So come by boat, golf cart, bike, or any other means and even bring your pets (on a leash) for a night of fun, music, food, and hopefully another classic Hilton Head Island sunset. Oh, and don’t forget your cameras!
